We do not prescribe or sell eye glasses. We do what we know best which is treating eyes and leave the optometrist to do what they know best and that is fitting contact lenses and prescribing eye glasses.
However, Corneal Topography is available at UHEAL. This is a test that is very useful to the Optometrist in fitting contact lenses. An automated refractometer is also available enabling us to get an approximation of the power of glasses that you may need. We have optometrist / optician that we commonly refer to in Karen, town centre, Kileleshwa, Westlands, ABC place, Muthaiga, Mombasa, Nakuru, Kisumu and Eldoret.
We do remind people that they see with their eyes and not their eye glasses. It always better to visit the eye doctor first to confirm that your eye is otherwise healthy and all that is needed is a pair of glasses.
